Werewolf
Werewolves are considered to be children of the moon (Not Skin Changers) but the reality is much more complex. There are substantial physiological differences between werewolves and even their closest kin, the Skin changes. No one is born a Werewolf, but any human can become one by either being bitten by a Werewolf. They are unable to control when they phase, rather, the Full Moon controls it. The change is painful for the first few years, but with time, it becomes more manageable. They will become uneasy on the run-up to the full moon. Also, they will be at their weakest the days after a full moon as they recover.
To become a werewolf, you must, obviously, first be bitten by an existing werewolf. Bites, however, aren't guaranteed to pass on the curse. The bite of a werewolf is the most potent, a bitten human will shift on the next full moon, Assuming they survive from the initial attack from a werewolf. Many humans who do survive the initial bite/attack of a werewolf die from shock during their first transformation. Only the strong would survive it all.
All werewolves transform during the full moon, With no control over what they do whilst in wolf form during the full moon. With experience, older werewolves will start to remember what they have done. Transformations as a whole tend to be difficult, painful, and not a pleasant experience for werewolves, although, to those that have been bitten for longer periods of time, the pain does dull to more of an irritating level instead of a detrimental one.
Physiology
Human Form: Werewolves broadly spend most of their time blending in with their human communities. As such, their human forms are virtually indistinguishable from regular humans, though they tend to have a natural ease remaining in peak physical condition. Anything humans do they can do, they have no signs of having anything supernatural in their human forms. (So hearing, seeing better whilst in human form)
Wolf Form: The wolf will invariably be on the larger side or slightly exceeding the size of the base wolf. With experience, werewolves are capable of the same level of conscious thought as the human form. Werewolves in wolf form will be able to solve complex problems. They cannot communicate with spoken, human language.
Most werewolves who shift to this form will do so at the expense of their clothes and their anonymity.
Breeding/Mating
Female werewolves commonly tend to baron and cannot breed. Though the only way a werewolf is made is through a bite. Any males that have children will not have the blood curse. They will just be humans.
Lifespan and Aging:
Werewolves live a normal lifespan and are not immortal. It is rare to see a werewolf live past the age of 80/90 years. Physical skills will begin to decline slowly in their 50’s.
Werewolf Dominance:
Most werewolves are lone creatures and live amongst humans. With no other werewolves around him. Most werewolves are able to recognize either by sight or instinct. When in wolf form they could be fights over dominance and territory. Fights are usually brief, and generally, involve a lot of growling and posturing. There is one pack of werewolves know to the supernatural world that lives in Europe. These usually try and help any newly turned werewolves in the continent, that they get wind of.
Pack Hierarchy
This pack have a hierarchy like wolves. There is a leader known as the Alpha.
He is the oldest and most wise of the werewolves. He has the most control over his moon change and is the least affected by the change now. He can be challenged by younger werewolves however with them mostly living in a human form, they work in more of a council of people trying to help run the pack.
In this pack, there are many Bets who make up the council.
These wolves generally are similar in age to the alpha and have a large knowledge of the supernatural world. They help run the pack and make decisions.
Pack members
Then the rest that makes up the werewolf pack are just normal people. Going about their business. Coming together for wolf gatherings and help throughout the change at a full moon. There are special members of the pack that are the doctors.
These tend to any injuries that the pack endure and give medicals to new members.
Weaknesses:
Wolf's Bane: it is a beautiful but deadly perennial plant on which deep purple flowers bloom. Within these deceptively pretty flowers is a compound known as Aconitine, a poison that is deadly to all species when ingested in large amounts. Aconitine is especially reactive when used against werewolves in any fashion. Powder or vapour forms have been shown to cause respiratory spasms and in some cases, the werewolf may completely lose consciousness. This can be used against them in both human and wolf form.
Silver: Silver has shown to be, by far, the most potent and reactive when introduced to a werewolf. When silver enters the bloodstream of a werewolf, their symptoms appear within seconds to minutes and mimic the signs and symptoms of septicemia in humans. Heart and breathing rate spike, in the beginning, muscles around the point of entry spasm uncontrollably, and the werewolf's mental status deteriorate dramatically. If left untreated, the body's organ functions deteriorate and the werewolf will eventually die. The only known cure is a special tonic made by magic users. The use of silver seems to be the only way to permanently scar or injure a werewolf.
Strengths:
Werewolves in wolf form are capable of getting injured and bleeding, Through their skin, it tougher so great force usually is the only thing to break it. They are incapable of healing themself and their wounds would transfer to their human forms after the moon fase. Any injury caused by silver requires a special antidote if the silver has been exposed to the bloodstream. Removal of silver bullets and other items will be required before the werewolf can heal the tissue surrounding the area themselves. Due to the extreme damage silver can cause a werewolf, many of them will develop scar tissue in the areas they were affected.
Equivalency to Other Species
In a fight, a vampire and werewolf that is in wolf form will generally be evenly matched. The werewolf tends to be the fighter with the most brute strength and stamina of the two, whereas the vampire will possess more stealth and speed. With regards to the other species, a werewolf will generally outmatch each of them with no outside factors considered.
Important Site Notes About Werewolves:
Werewolves are currently not been accepted to the school. As they are not born werewolves so are more unpredictable.
